Lakes International Language Academy (LILA) is a K-12 tuition-free public charter school that merges proven Spanish or Mandarin Chinese language immersion instruction with an accredited International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme curriculum for kindergarten through 5th grade. The IB PYP curriculum and language learning are also cornerstones for the affordable Kinder Prep Preschool program for ages 3-5.

LILA’s Upper School offers a unique curriculum as an authorized school for the IB Middle Years Programme for grades 6th- through 10th, and the internationally-recognized IB Diploma Programme for grades 11 and 12. Students in Upper School grades are welcome from any district, regardless of their second-language proficiency.
