Karl has been in recruiting for 10+ years with Express Employment Professionals and the Specialized Recruiting Group, helping job seekers and companies connect in Minnesota and Western Wisconsin. His teams focus on long-term hiring, both contract-to-hire and direct hire, and have helped thousands of people find work with local businesses. Karl lives in Blaine with his growing family.

Adesewa Adesiji

Metro Workforce Strategy Consultant DEED

Adesewa is a Workforce Strategy Consultant (WSC) with the state of Minnesota’s Department of Employment and Economic Development. In her role for the metro area, she works with businesses developing strategies for attracting and retaining today’s and tomorrow’s workforce talent.  An area of interest is increasing BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) representation in the workplace, across all industries and all levels. Adesewa received her bachelors in sociology from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities and her MBA from Augsburg College.


Mike Miron

Career Launch Forest Lake School District

Mike is in his twentieth year of teaching in the Forest Lake School District. He began as an Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources teacher and FFA advisor where he taught students from the high school, community school and two junior high schools. Mike has spent the last five years as Forest Lake Area High School’s Career and Technical Education Coordinator and Work-Based Learning teacher. The high school has a robust offering of career pathway classes to help students identify their post-secondary plans.
